I'm making these again tonight for dinner with salmon. Always a great choice. Shake it up on the finish with a different Ellbee's flavor.

  • 3 T unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 T Sweet & Smokey Ellbee's
  • 1 T flour
  • 3 c. half n half
  • 6-8 potatoes, washed and sliced thin
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ⅓ cup parmeasean cheese
  • or 2 boxes of store bought potatoes (I know, that's just wrong, but it works great in a hurry)
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350* Spray 9x13 pan with oil. In saucepan add butter, melt until foams add onion and Ellbee's, saute until onion is softened. Add flour, stir, then half and half stir 5 minutes. Place single layer of potatoes into pan pour half of mixture over, then add some cheese and then rest of potatoes, pour remaining mixture and top with cheese.
  2. Or Mix according to package, add Ellbee's and bake 45 minutes, then uncover and cook remaining 15 minutes. Serves 4-6.
