Fall is upon us, and that means warm bowls of soup and chili.

  • Broth
  • Lamb Bone
  • Carrot (I used the ones we cooked with the lamb bone)
  • Celery
  • Onion
  • For Soup
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 tsp Ellbee's Chipotle Herb Garlic Seasoning
  • Broth
  • 1 tsp Rosemary
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • ½ cup uncooked barley
  • approximately 1 C chopped lamb meat
  1. Throw all of the above together in a large stock pot, and fill with water until the carcass is covered.
  2. Simmer on low for at least an hour but for much longer if possible.
  3. Strain into a bowl, discard all of the above ingredients.
  4. For Soup
  5. Saute the celery and carrots in oil until soft.
  6. Add the Ellbee's Garlic Seasoning and saute for 2 minutes
  7. Add the rest of the soup ingredients and simmer for an hour.
